- Akismet; pretty much the default spam filtering method for WordPress and it has worked pretty well for me,
- All in One SEO Pack; seo optimisation tool for WordPress,
- Google Analyticator; adds the javascript to your pages to allow collection of Google Analytics information,
- Google XML Sitemaps, this plugin generates a sitemaps.org compatible site map of a WordPress blog,
- Maintenance Mode; adds a splash page to blog that lets visitors know blog is down for maintenance,
- NextGEN Gallery; advanced photo gallery module.
- ShareThis, add sharethis button to pages and posts,
- Simple Tags; adds additional tagging capabilities,
- TinyMCE Advanced; a better editor,
- WordPress Automatic Upgrade; a must have admin module, makes keeping WordPress and all plugins up to date a breeze,
- WordPress Mobile Edition; Show a mobile view of the post/page if the visitor is on a known mobile device,
- WordPress Reports; generates reports from Google Analytics and Feedburner data,
- WPhone; a lightweight admin interface for mobile devices,
