My Camera Kit

Here is the camera kit I use.

Body

Canon 30D – solid 6 MP digital body

Canon 33 – Good film body, replaced by 30D and I don’t think I could go back to this as my prime body.

Lens

Canon 35 – 350 mm – bought refurbished from B&H Photo – heavy but great lens,

Canon 17 – 35 mm F2.8 – bought second hand off ebay, superseded but still a brilliant lens,

Canon 50 mm F1.8 – insanely cheap for a lens this fast, great for indoor no flash work and when I don’t wont the bulk of either of the other lenses,

Ancillaries

Canon 380EX flash – aging but still working perfectly,

Manfrotto Carbon Fibre Tripod – Large but light weight with a 460MG compact 3 way head (not the easiest to use, but compact),

A range of Hoya & Cokin filters including Circular Polarisers, Grad Gray and ND’s,

Lowepro Primus AW backpack only just purchased to replace a 5 year old Lowepro Rover AW backpack that had been very thoroughly worn out.  I decided to go for the Primus due to its added security and the side entrance pocket which works pretty well for quick access.
